Common name: Gold Moss Sedum, Golden Carpet Stonecrop
Family: Crassulaceae
Genus: Sedum
Species Acre
I like this plant. It is used in an extremely dry situation. With small waterings, it looks fine all season.
Lol - there's been an on going debate about sedum acre on the ID forum. The plant in question has been sedum sarmentosum http://plantsdatabase.com/go/1893/ Seems a lot of us know that one as s.acre too. I just corrected the database entries.
What I have been calling Sedum acre is more like poppysue's.http://www.grovestreet.com/jsp/onepic.jsp?id=102663 I inherited the plant and see it throughout the neighborhood. It does like to travel. Several people have agreed with me on the name, but this is not scientific.
