This is a really nice looking bloom. Hope a cat doesn't come along and eat the peduncle in half. Had that happen with one of mine. Never did find the critter.

what a long thin pod...........very odd

FSH, TX

This one keeps a very thin seedpod. In fact, I have seen many pure versicolors with thicker seedpods than this one. Long, skinny, and very apt to get bruised around its tip if its pinched ever so slightly.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

thats great Arlene,nice crosses

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

It is a beauty Arlene! Good luck with your crosses.
