Hi Alan - looks as though everything's coming up roses for you. It's about time the good weather came your way. I was on the phone nearly an hour with my daughter in Germany. She is a complete novice about gardening but is now so keen to start learning. She will have her own, very first, garden in August near Lake Constance and I have almost managed to persuade her to join this great site and get on the chat with her queries and keep my phone bill down...lol! She doesn't want to spend hours at the keyboard but would rather read books on gardening, especially whilst the sun is shining and who can blame her. She needs to find good research sites that will point her in the right direction as to the types of plants etc that she can grow in her region. I will send her my old books about veggie gardening - you know what I mean - Percy Thrower and co! Gosh, that's going back some! I will also introduce her to Bert and Gwist who, no doubt, will give her lots of tips. I hope you all have a wonderful day and to all the American mums out there - "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY"!!!
