This is lovely too do you grow alot of hostas and do you have a slug/snail problem?

Yes I grow a lot of hostas. I haven't had much of a slug/snail problem here for the last couple years. We have had drought problems for the last couple years and it really seems to keep those nasty buggers at bay. :)

How do hostas thrive in drought conditions? I thought they like a moist soil

As long as they are established they do ok. If the heat/temps are extreme some may go dormant. I run a soaker hose through them and water them once a week.
