Hi ya'll,

I Finally planted my field peas on Sunday. It's the first day it didn't rain! I had to plant them with my bare hands and feet because the tractor would just sink into the ground. I hope they come up! I also found a source for buying lots of bread for the chickens. $4 for a whole rack of bread! Have any of you guys used bread with your birds? They seem to like it as a treat, but won't eat it if I give it to them every day. I gave some away, and hung a bunch up in the barn from string to hold for awhile, and froze the rest. I wish I had planted back during the drought like Shoe told me too. I just didn't have any faith to put a seed in a ground during the dry spell. Guess I learned my lesson!

:-)
