a very pretty seedpod of an Iris.

I am not sure which it is but I believe it is a native Califorian one. I have had it for over 10 years but just recently cut down the flowering maple that covered it so I really can't remember what the flower looks like.

Kell, I think this is the Gladwin Iris or iris foetidissima. The guy at the garden store where I frequent was telling me about it and was looking for a source of plants for his store.
