Printing problem.

I know this is a dumb question but I just can't seem to get this to work.For instance if I want to print just a small part of a thread that has say 30 posts how can I get just the small portion I want to print out? If I click the print button on my key board or go into file and click print it will print the whole thread and I have pages of info I don't need.
