This is supposed to be Rosea from LBJ. Beautiful Pink and it has a slick surface. I had some pollinating to do and the wind was blowing-so didn't get the best picture.
Is this Rosea?
Don't know if it's Rosea Barb but it sure is a beauty.
Looks to have a bit of suave in that versi, but other than that I would ask the master...Monika. As I have often said, I've been wrong before.
A beauty.
Barbara, I know only one Rosea and thats x candida Rosea.
Its pictured in the Preissel book. Your plant is different.
Monika, do you know the source of Kirchner-Abels Rosea (Barbaras plant)? That would maybe solve the mystery. My mystery pink Brug has the same kind of curve between the tube and the edge and they are probably the same.
Edited: I meant LBJ`s source of B. x Rosea

Its not correct to give a cv a latin name. Its against the botanic rules. Latin names are hold for naming natural species only.
The name B. x candida Rosea was given by Dr. Holguin to a hybrid in 1992. This hybrid is pictured in the Preissel book.
Barbaras Rosea is another hybrid. It has much suaveolens genes.I have to look, who is the breeder.

Hi Tonny...I wouldn't say they are VERY slender! Just the normal slenderness of some Insignis/Suaveolens types! I'll have a proper look at it this evening!
