Do hydrangea's make seed?????

excellent question JCF

I just checked one of my favorite propagation books. You can propagate Hydrangea from
softwood cuttings,
semi-ripe cuttings,
hardwood cuttings,
layering and

seeds.

jcf, cuttings are definitely your best option. Just stick them in a pot and keep moist - they are very easy to root. I keep cuttings close to my water source (I call it my nursery). Brenda

thanks everyone..

For no-risk hydrangea starts, just pull down a lower branch and put a rock on it. You'll have roots in no time.
