Here is a picture of one of the 14 buds on my p&c. I can't wait for some to open.

oh Girl!!! I wish mine had buds, it hasn't even Y'd. Can't wait to see pictures, how many times a day do you check it :) I know I'd be out there fifty!

Mine has some way to go still, so I will enjoy every picture you post of this one. Keep them coming, HoniBee. *lol* Do all the buds open in one flush?

Isn't P & C the one the east coast feels grows slowly? This one looks robust. Mine is getting huge, though I am growing it as a standard but it keeps growing tons of side shoots off the main stem.

This is one of the brugs. that I have (ever) grown that has buds on it this large. The others: Jean Pasco has small ones as does the Jutner's. tiG I check it every day and look at every little bud and curse anything that would even look like they were going to touch the buds. :) I am waiting for the C. Yellow to bud.

You better believe I will post the blooms.

My family think I am crazy with my health to be fussing over a plant like this. Poohy on them.

HoniBee, peak through the calyx against the light. You see the shadow if the flower inside. You can even see if it has short or long tendrils. When the calyx quits growing, the flower inside grows faster and you can watch, when it is about ready to push through.
