Impatiens glandulifera

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Deblynn and Brugie asked me for the seeds of these... well, I went collecting some from the plants about an hour ago, mos of the seeds were white, but I managed to get black and brown seeds too, which should be viable. I can still go pick more if you want.. These were collected from plants with pink and magenta coloured flowers.

Anybody else want these?

Wow Evert, those are really some big seeds. I guess I thought they would be like the regular impatiens. Thanks for going to the trouble to get these seeds for us. I certainly appreciate your time and effort.

No, they aren't very big seeds, they just look big in the photo.. (taken with macro)

Darnit! I was hoping they'd be big because I do better with those. :-P I'd still like some please and now have a fairly decent assortment of fall bulbs for trade. Let me know what you think (so I can e-mail the list) and thanks for sending the link.

Well, when I send you these seeds, promise that you will keep them in your garden. Don't let them spread, and if possible, nip of all seedpods when they start to form. You could leave some where you can get seeds for next year. Do you want any other seeds Deborah?
