Monika, is this Amarillo Paja?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, I would really like to pick your brain here and see if I have the right name to a brug. I've wanted to know for sure for some time now, but kinda let it go for a while. I tried to get a picture that would show all stages, plus the calyx. Hope you can help me. Also, have a great weekend. Hope you don't get too tired.

Sorry Brugie, no, its a different species. Amarillo Paja looks much like a versicolor but its mother is B. suav. Goldtraum.

Today, we finally put up the tent.I still have to arrange things a little bit around.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

You are going to show us pictures of the big day aren't you?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I will Liz. Tomorrow at 13 hrs, the local newspaper is coming for pictures. I will make pictures also.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, I hope your day goes very well. When you are all finished and rested after the weekend, would you possibly be able to post a picture of Amarillo Paja? I think several of us would like to know what it really looks like.

Thanks a bunch and have fun!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What fun! I wish we all could go.

So I wonder how many more brugs LBJ named wrong. Is that where yours came from too Brugie.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm not sure where it came from before Barb got it. I wrote her to ask if she still needed a cutting from it since it is misnamed. I'm not to sure about LBJ's brugs. Think I'd rather just trade here and if there are any questions about brugs, let the experts here help us out. Now I'd like to know what this is. I know it is a little hard to propagate.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Bruge, Hope you find out what it is. I'm sure someone will come up with a name.
Monika, Have a wonderful day tomorrow. You've certainly earned it. Wish we could all be there.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty Brugie. Is it a blush pink? so delicate.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, it ends up a peach color. Not really delicate though. Large blooms on this one.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

the flowers look so ethereal in this picture. like they could float

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Hope we can find out what this one is so that we can rename. I really like it myself.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Brugie, I look for the picture next week and post it for you.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks so much. I asked on another thread if you think this one is also KBS or whatever those letters were. I'll come back and change this if I have the letters wrong.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I use the letters KBS for Kurpark Bad Salzschlirf. Sometimes I am lazy.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I will definitely be lazy. However, someplace I will write down the whole name so I can tell anyone who gets a cutting from me. Thanks a bunch.

Brugie, mine is easy to propagate. Ummm...

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Brugie, The plant of Amarillo Paja you received from me is from LBJ. This is the 5th plant that was misnamed. Ordered 1.Glockenfontane pink-received Glockenfontane white; 2. Ordered Loreley, received Tropica Sunshine; 3. Ordered Rosetraum and received Adora; 4. Ordered Amarillo Paja and received I don't know what. 5. a pink that is a mystery.

Barb - it will roll off your tongue with practice. LOL
It's beautiful and it's in her book - a gorgeous euro brug.
Labels changing all over the place. It's like having a whole new collection. I can live with it - as long as Monika doesn't tell me that everything is a suaveolens white and Frosty Pink.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Barb, I'm just changing the tag to KBS and counting my lucky stars that LBJ didn't send you another Frosty Pink. I already had plenty of those. :-) So, do you want a cutting of this still? Let me know by email please.

Liz, if we keep this up, we might find that we have more Euro brugs here than we even knew of. :-)

I'm assuming that Amarillo Paja is a Euro too, but there is nothing wrong with this one as soon as I can figure out how to get it to root quicker and more reliably.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

would love to get on someone's list for this one if possible.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Isn't that the truth Brugie? With luck we'll find that most of our brugs are euros. Wouldn't that be the coolest?
I have a couple of yellows that need a euro name - then I could go to winter happy.

tiG,
I got one for you....I'll send it with the Giant EE.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Brugie,
I think my AP or what ever you call it will make it. I threatened to send it to the compost and it started growing. Tough Love. *LOL*

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

wow, Glory, thanks tons!! am feeding MM and talking to him. might promise a trip to Disney if he grows good! LOL!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Okay Barb, but if you ever need a start, let me know. Be more than happy to mail one out to you.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Brugie, Amarillo Paja is a product of Mme Mosimann from Switzerland.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cool. Now if I just had that one, I'd write the information down. :-) However, I won't complain about what I have. Thanks.

Bringing up an old thread here, but trying to trade brug family trees, Monika you said Amarillo Paja's mom was Goldtraum, do you know who the pollen parent was?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I know the other parent. It was a versicolor.
