This does not look like the night blooming jasmine I have. Mine is more of a tree than a shrub and has tight cluisters of about twenty or so small blooms. The leaves are more oval than long and are shiney and thick-ish. When I bought it, it was tagged as a night blooming jasmine but I have never seen another like it. It has lost all of the foliage and flowers over the cold season. I keep hoping to see something spouting on it but no luck yet!! Any advice?

What zone are you in? Mine died completly back this winter but is coming out now, just one small stem so far.

abecerra: By your description, I'm pretty sure what you have is murraya paniculata, or orange jessamine. We call it "Cafe de la India" or "Indian Coffee" in Puerto Rico, I guess because of the red seeds, which resemble the coffee berry. The fragrance is exquisite. Good luck!

I remembering this plant from my native country Cuba. I was checking Ebay and is a vendor that selling it on Ebay and said it is hardy in zone 7 that is Pa were I live.
I just got it, but after reading in here, I am afraid to plant it in my flower bed. It is true or I may plant it in a pot to keep it inside in winter time?
Any sugestion?
