I have approximately 50 baby bulbs that I started from seed that are a little over a year old. Does anybody know about letting them go dormant for the winter or keep on feeding and watering and how long it takes them to bloom when started from seed? How's that for a long winded question? LOL. Thanks for any info that you can offer.

amarylis(sp) from seed
Melissa,
I just leave mine outside in the pots, in a protected area, all year and then set them out in the garden next spring..I guess you could put them out now if they are hardy in your zone, they are here, in 8..Mine reseed all over the yard and I just dig up in spring planting where I want them.

Thanks, Larkie. I am kinda over protective of my babies, I guess. The bulbs are now no bigger than a marble And It can get a little cold here in the winter. Thanks.
