I have a customer who is interested in ponding, but she is worried about the weather in her area. Living in Texas I can't help her much with info on ponding in North California. Can anyone out there help me!
HELP! Any North California Ponders Out There!
Have her check out "sunset magazines, book on ponds". I lived in the San fernando valley and it was a great help. Since then I have moved back to Michigan and again it was a great help. I found it at Barnes and Noble book store.
Also we have a pond club here and our site is www.backyardponderingsociety.com, we have links to a lot of places that can help her.

You might also contact some of our Oregon and Washington state gardeners - Pebble, Lenjo, MaryE, Joy, wannadanc, etc. If none of them has a pond, they probably know someone (at DG or nearby) who does :)
Thanks go_vols, I sent her the link for Dave's Garden but don't know if she will subscribe. She was interested in a Lilypons I had up for auction and didn't know if it would grow for her or if it was too late to plant. We got to talking and you know the rest. I figured this would be the best place for info that I may be able to pass on to her.
