I love these plants and didn't realize there were a lot of diff. ones. I only have one and really charish it when it blooms. It was here when I moved in and was small and almost under a log and I moved it and it has grow a lot and blooms very nicely.
Yes, they do quite well here. When does yours bloom? Mine is one of the first spring flowers, shortly after the crocus. The blooms increase and it seems to be in bloom forever... what a wonderful little plant! I started lots of them from seed this spring, and they've decided to start blooming now. It's fun to go out to the nursery bed and see who's opening up each day.
Our climate is pretty cool and moist here, so primulas love us. You have a lot hotter summers than we do, and your winters probably get colder. Is your primula in a damp, protected area?
