Isn't she cute?! I live in a summer resort area with three campgrounds comprising over 1600 acres out here ~ 750 acres or more of that is right across the county road from me. So, what does a stupid city slicker do when they're too dumb to relate to their dog? Go to the country and dump them! Grrrrrrr...
But the joke's on them with this one. She is the sweetest, smartest little dog! We're not done with the "deprogramming" yet, but she's already understanding some English and feeling right at home! I have one of those computer desks from Wal-Mart and she's chosen my foot space as "HER" space and is curled up under there as I type this. *Grin!* Someone beat her on a regular basis ~ I can tell because she used to let loose with her bladder a bit and cower SO bad at the slightest thing like us walking up to her, bless her heart!
We posted pictures all over the place out here and no one's claimed her in a month, so she's ours! The big, fat vet bill we'll have to pay next week will insure that. ;) She goes out to look at the cows with us and watches us closely. 75% of the time she goes after the cows only if we try to move them first (sometimes telling her to ~ sometimes she just knows from us telling her before), 20% of the time because they get too close to us and the other 5% just because she can't stand it, I think. LOLOL!
Kenny says he thinks she's a red heeler and would bet money on that or a close mix. Whatever she is, she's fit RIGHT in with our other dogs, especially BJ, aka Booroo, our little border collie! They're so funny! BJ used to wear out the labs, and still want more. Now they both wear out the labs and then play with each other! I'm so happy she found us.
