This past weekend I purchased a Magic Cheif 5 tray food dehydrator minus the instruction book, :-( I only paid $3 for this item and it had never been used. Does anyone have this dehydrator instruction booklet that I can pay for a copy of?????? Before buying this I really had no idea how to dehydrate anything and have since learned it's a bit more than putting the veggie's on the trays and turning it on, LOL. Please allow me to thank you in advance for any help!

Magic Chef is a Maytag imprinteur. If you go to: maytag.com/mths/cust_serv/manuals there is an on-line form for ordering owners manuals, so long as you know the serial number.
It looks a lot like my West Bend dehydrator which didn't come with an instruction book either! Fortunately our local library has several good books about dehydrating foods that I was able to check out. Do you have access to any books like that at your library? I will give you a couple of titles that were very helpful to me if you can't find any.
