Tomorrow is the biggie! I finally found a friend to come ride with me to Amite, Louisiana. That is about a 2 hour trip one way. You see, they have a very big wholesale nursery that sells tropicals...gingers, bamboo, gingers and more gingers..-"Island Nursery" -The last time I went there most of gingers were dormant and I couldn't wait to go back and see when things were in bloom.Well, they are in bloom!!!! Gosh..I just know I will not sleep tonight! I need a trailer to carry my loot back with!!! Instead of counting sheep, I'll count gingers!

LOL! I plundered and pillaged. I had a wild look in my eye that my friend had not seen on my face in a long time. My van was packed to the top. The lady gave..yes gave!! me lots of goodies. She said she'd never seen anyone so excited about gingers. She had some that she said were 'ugly' (gasp). I'll have to round everything up and take a pic for yall. Lots of really neat stuff.
