Hardy Lily James Brydon

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

This plant is a smaller version of hardy waterlilies. The flowers are half the size of normal and the leaves are smaller than normal too.But blooms heavily and nice even red color!

I have read a bit about dwarf and miniature waterlilies lately, for small ponds. Is this one of those? How much smaller is it? I love how pearly the flower and pads look. Really pretty.

Badseed..its about half the size of a regular hardy waterlily plant. good for small pools..I have seen this one flourish in a pond of only about 55 gals.

Okay, dumb question - is this the same as James Byron? (here's the entry in the PDB: http://plantsdatabase.com/go/48879/)

And if they're the same - which spelling is correct? (I'm guessing it's Brydon from some Googling I did...)

Nice pic!

It's all taken care of - thanks for the quick confirmations! (Sue, if it's any consolation, I assumed it was my fault from when we added all those Nymphaea entries a while back, lolol.)
