Sugar's getting bigger I think and STILL no calf!! Having her in the pen right back of the house sure is nice ~ I can just peek out there at her all day and know she's fine instead of go hunt her down in the little pasture we have them all in.

Kenny and I caught three of the goldfish in the main water trough and put in her water trough. It's amazing just how many mosquito wigglers are in there from just this past few days! We just went out to take a look and they've already eaten 3/4 of the little b$#%^$s. LOLOL! Go get 'em, goldfish!

StepDad's coming home from the hospital tomorrow, so we've been cleaning out their house and hanging drapes in the room Kenny remodeled for them. I hope they like it. We'll build the ramp tonight and tomorrow.

We've decided which of the cows we want to cull. Two of them in particular give me the heebies, so they'll be going. Kenny said he might like to have only a Longhorn bull after all, so the young Charolais bull we bought might be going along with the two cows. We had been told that he wouldn't get more than 1800 or 2000 lbs., but I've had some trouble getting ahold of the man who sold him to us ~ kind of feels like he's ducking out on us like a used car salesman after he's made his sale. So I don't mind that we're selling that bull after all. ;) Then I won't have to worry about the cows having his calves.

I wish it would rain!!!!!
