Well, Howdy everyone!

(Zone 7b)

Hi there new friends... Excuse the dirt underneath my nails... and the grass stains on my knees... although I reckon these are common sights 'round this place... goodness, looks to me like y'all dont even sweep the pine straw off the floor... hee hee hee I'll surely indeed feel right at home. I took a minute while everybody was busy doin' other things, and peeked around here a bit. Nice place y'all got for yourself. Although I might suggest a coffee bar. But other'n that, its wonderful. Now, let me tell y'all how I done found myself in here in the first place. Garden wife. Yep- go'n blame it all on her. She done it all. And I am right glad she did, too. Boy, yall got some neat-o stuff... seeds, gossip, prayer, cookin'... something smells good. I look forward to movin' right on in. I'm a bit timid, I admit... but yall watch out, cause soon as you get me started, might as well get comfy. Thanks for the prayers for my daughter, too. She had her tonsils out last week. real scare, too. I dont like needles nor do I like knives... Ick! Big 'o ICK! But Praise God she's doin' great these days, even though she has wave of discomfort, she's holdin' strong. Well, I'm gonna scoot for time bein'. Thanks for the right nice welcome... Yall do hollar at me when ya can. God bless everyone as we begin the chores of puttin' our flowers to bed...

Hi Friends... here is the pathology report about my daughter's surgery... thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!!
I called the doctor yesterday... frankly because I was getting far too nervous and impatient. After 20 minutes of the nice chatty nurse reading to me in her native language, MEDICAL, I finally interupted her..."Honey, just talk to me like we just met in WalMart...". She belted out a laugh, and told me the report simply says she had enormous tonsils. That's it... whopper-doozies. I can handle that good news! My Chanah still is in pain while eatting, and getting thinner and thinner... so today I am hauling her tonsil-less self right back to the children's hospital office and let them look down in there to make certain all is well indeed. I am her medical manager... it is my job. OK, its my job to appease my nuerosis... but who cares... it's my life, its her life... and I want a complete good bill of health.

Welcome from Oregon. Dave's is a great place and I spend far too much time here, but I can't help myself. It's a happy addiction, and educational too. Give that kid lots of ice cream!
