I'm wading through all the posts under Monika's EP x Rothkick and I stop dead when I see your comment:

"Now, if we were to breed Rothkirch x Ocre type children to each other...enough seedlings could result in a hybrid equivalent or even better than Rothkirch...Question being...where is one to find Rothkirch's children....Butterfly, Rosabelle, etc"

I'm doing the happy dance cuz I know where to get them...LOL.

I sincerely do believe this is our best bet for getting a Rothkirch here in the states. Were going to have to breed for one. Just think, we could get one that bloomed heavier and more frequently. Heck, it could even be a first year bloomer and darker color as well.

Lucky you, Joyce:) Wonder how large those suitcases were? LOL

lol arlene, you're cute...how's the bandage holding up? Stay out of the sun and if you go out wear a straw hat to cover you.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

still waiting on that price list if you're up to it! :) cause I'm short a sister. well, I've got you arlene, but can you breed with Butterfly?? if so, I'm bringing her down!!! LOL!!

Hamilton, Canada

Okay Eric,

So what one needs to do is cross all of the sister plants with one another ie butterfly x rosabelle, rosabelle x butterfly etc, etc, etc,

which other ones are offsprings? rosetta, ...????

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

tig, lololol.... you have pink email!

QQn @ sniffin brugs around the forum to see who has the other sister..

Butterfly is best for seed setting. The others are good as pollen donors as their seepods rarely stay on very long as they tend to rot.

ok Eric...Will put this in my notes for sure...which other ones are siblings besides rosabelle and butterfly..

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)
