Butterfly

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

can't believe I'm posting this picture but I cut out most of the tape around the calyx out! I can't get how dark pink this is, the camera just won't show it. Imagine it 2 or 3 shades darker than what you see here. DH had a fit!! Amazing, truly amazing, I love this brug!

Finally we get to see some of your blooming brugs. I knew it would happen one day, but it sure has taken a long time this year. Hope they bloom until Christmas so your pictures will help us get through the Iowa winters up here. I like this brug too. Mine bloomed pretty short, but next bloom will be great and more of them.

I wonder if mine will ever bloom this year....... The plant looks healthy, but no sign of a bloom. I hope they aren't getting too much shade; I only have about a half day on sunlight on them.......
