Datura???

What is this? it only grows 4 inches tall. has really green leaves. only gets one flower and the leaves get eaten. I forgot all about it. It will just pop up ...stay for a few days . then *poof* its gone. till next year. Its been there for maybe 5 years now.

Mimi, thats Datura stramonium. Yes, the catapillars like this one. *lol* If you like it it will probably do better in cultivated garden soil. It can be to 1.8 m high and a large one can have to 50 flowers open each night.

So, should I move it then>>> It has only gotten 1 flower ever/ See......Ther is a town , not far from here and the grow everywhere there. I took a seed pod. never got anything but this. I totaly forgot all about it till DG site. and till today when I saw it in bloom. I figured it croaked!
