This is one that's overgrown it's pot and is partly floating. It's been blooming all summer.
Yellow waterlily
Susie, that is very pretty! We know how you love yellow. :) Hey, blooming all summer?? Maybe we should all float are pots. giggle
Maybe that's a good thing.
Cala..great pic..love the composition. :-)
How pretty indeed!!
very nice, are you saying the whole pot floats?
Yes, the whole pot is floating. This lily is about 4ft in diameter.
tie a rock to the bottom?
I tried to tie a rock to it, the rock fell off. I would never be good at burying something in the water. Can't get the rocks to stay fastened.
Something or someone? LOL
You've been talking to Lisa again haven't you?
Who me?? Talk to the Cajun?? No, never! And she didn't tell me nuthin' 'bout no bodies! :)
I need to get that shipment of plants out to her pronto before she talks too much.
You better send her a really good box so she won't tell the next secret either. LOL Matter of fact, just send me her box and I won't make up any new secrets. I am sure she won't mind. giggle
Hmmm, it contains a ginger or two. Do you really want to get between Lisa and her gingers?
Hmmmm, in that case, guess you better send the gingers to the Cajun. We don't want things to get *ugly*. :)
I have used bird netting as a bag around plants before and put a rock in the bottom of the mesh bag-like contraption. It works well to keep the floating plants underwater. Especially until you have time to repot. Lani
Oh what a great idea!!! Like the mesh bags onions come in?
yes or fruit tree netting
