Got my coleus swap

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

WOW!! okay, WOWWEEEE!!! I felt so guilty when I drew my name for Studley's swap. so I did it again. same thing! I guess the odds were in my favor, there were only 9 of us in the beginning, but it wouldn't have mattered who got my name, I knew my collection was going to take off!
I got a box today and it took a good long time just to get them out and on the table!!! Studley, thank you so much!!! You just provided all of the southeast with coleus at the next swap! You sent so many varieties, I didn't even count them yet, I wanted to pot them up and water well. They got here in great shape, but it's hot as blue blazes and I knew that once they were out of their plastic they would suffer.
They are resting in their new homes, looking forward to growing and being spread around everywhere!

May they all grow and your cuttings from them travel.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

they will travel, that I can promise. Now that I know there are so many coleus lovers, these little beauties will be tucked into everything!

Birmingham, NJ(Zone 6b)

I so wanted to join in on the coleus swap but I only have 4 different varieties. I love coleus arn't they just beautiful.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Lucky you TIg, I plan to send mine out Monday - missed the chance last monday, trying to get enough healthy ones to send.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you'll reap from this bounty dear!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I know that Studley is a generous fellow!! Besides, he is going off soon on his honeymoon and he probably doesn't want to worry about the coleus he's leaving behind!!

Oh, I wish it was May again!!

Clarksville, TN(Zone 6b)

I thought they were annuals. They are not hardy to zone 4 are they?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm keeping them indoors. they are tender perennials, meaning they can't take the cold.

Western, PA(Zone 6a)

I usually keep taking cuttings throughout the winter and tossing out the mother plants. Don't exactly know why; just do.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Golddog, I do that too. I think they are healthier when you do that.
