Outside all year 'round?

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

I'm thinking about what plants I can grow outside in a container, and leave outside during the colder months at my new apartment. Do brugs fit these requirements? I have quite a few houseplants, a few of which are outside, but most are inside until I find a way to keep them from getting sunburnt.

My apartment is facing east, and my patio enjoys direct sunshine from about 8am until around noon.

Thanks in advance,

We're a bit colder than you are and my brugs in containers won't survive the winter outside. The ones planted in the ground will, but die back to the soil line.

Thanks, Cala. It was a good idea, but doesn't look like a reasonable one. I've got a few other plants on my list that I can keep outside all year 'round, so it won't be a completely bare patio.

Thank you,
-Jennifer
