Pfalzgold is Mme Neus last creation. She died before it started flowering. I got the plant from Ursel Neu, her daughter. When it bloomed, Ursel Neu named it after my description. Ursel Neu lost her eyesight 30 years ago, due to a brain tumor.
Pfalzgold has the deepest apricot (or peach) of all x candida hybrids. The shape of the flower is beautiful and its a heavy bloomer.
I will post a better picture by next week.
Pfalzgold, a Mme Neu hybrid
good morning Monika :)! ur flowers are always very lovely. it looks good enough for me. what a sad note about Mme Neus and her daughter. the positive note is... u got a very lovely brug... ma vie
Nice. It's sad that she didn't get to see it bloom.
It is sad that she never got to see it but look at the beauty she left to this world
Thank God, that she left a start of it with you. Even though she and her daughter didn't get to see it, they have both left something nice for the world to see. It is a very pretty brug bloom. I do enjoy your pictures so much. Hope you are having good weather now. It certainly looks great in your picture.
A very pretty plant and you can keep her name alive by growing it. Yes, it is sad she never got to see it bloom.
Ursel kept many of her Moms plants, but strange people have to care for them. We have good weather and I hope it stays for a little while and maybe get a nice September too.
What a touching story. And how nice the daughter wants the world to enjoy the beautiful sight of her Mom's brug even though she can not.
Ursel and I are good friends. Mme Blin and myself visit her sometimes.
