Lost one, gained one

Another cat was "discarded" out here. She went to the vet her third day here to get "fixed" since it was obvious she had already had a litter. She is very, very small, pure black and so loving it is incredible. She was so thin it was frightening. She has been here two weeks and is fat and sassy now. The only problem so far, she wants to eat the parakeets. : (
My Granddaughter's pet mouse died two days ago. She had a horrendously large cancer. But since she got the kitten such a short time ago, she has not asked for a replacement on the mouse yet. (Thank heavens!) LOl
