That is so pretty.
Thanks, now this plant has 8 new blooms!! I wish it had a scent tho.
It is so lovely, I will have to try this one next year.
Wow, Azalea, either you have very, very small hands, or that's a huge flower!! I don't think mine have gotten quite that big! What do you feed her?
Well, my hands are sort of small, but this is a huge flower. I wish I had measured it. Will try to do that tomorrow as this same plant now has 8 blooms going!! I use a lot of compost, potting soil, peat and Osmacote. oh, and I sometimes water with Sam's Choice Deep Feeding (Walmart's faux MG).
BE-AU-TI-FUL! Dinner plate size :~) Have you saved any of the seeds? If so, please let me know.
LOl - I hope I get "A" seed, so far I have never had seeds, just got all mine but one with in the past year. I did try my first pollination efforts on this one just this week, of course, since I only have one plant blooming, it was to it's self. I would be surprised if I get any to mature this late in the season.
Hmmm...my pink blooms were more like salad plate sized. Of course, I had to cut them back because no one told me, as I was sneaking cuttings from the public gardens, that they'd get that big that fast!! I'm trying to root all the cuttings though, and I heard that the cuttings with the flowers should flower quickly...I hope. I do pretty much the same as you except, what's Osmacote?
I deperately need seeds but can't find any on the net..any ideas?
