The first but dissappointing Fandango x ? hybrid

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The tag fell off, so I just know the mother. The pollinator could have been either Tiara or Kurpark Bad Salzschlirf.

I expected more, another hybrid out of this cross is a double with deformed flowers. Just good enough for the compost pile.

oh but look at that shape!!!!!!!!!! boy if I could just get access to your compost pile!!! you are going to have a wonderful open house, can hear the ouus and ahhs already!!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Sorry you are not happy with the cross but I think it is very pretty.

Hamilton, Canada

Where is Ludger and Tony? They need to go and rescue those poor composted babies. Monika I know you produce wonderful brugs hybrids and perhaps the next one will be better. Some of us would even be happy with discards...LOL.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Out of this cross, I have many more to come. It depends if they will fulfill my expectations, when I made the cross.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

can compost be imported to the US? lol

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

hey!!! that might work:)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

You have very high standards - no wonder you have such gorgeous plants. I too would scoop up all you discards. Just what are you expecting from this cross?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

A double with more intensive color, Liz. A breeder must have high standards. He must be able to criticize his own product, be able to see the faults.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Monika,
The structure of the flower look sturdy, which is what we need in Mississippi.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Monika . . I admire your high standards and that is why you have beautiful and exceptional brugs.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It has a very sturdy flower, Barbara. I have another of this type, but out of a flore plena x Carmencita flore plena. It flowers in flushes, the seedling has at this moment about 60 open blooms. Its his second flush after germination. I will post a picture as soon as it is back from the lab. Heavy bloomers of this type are always welcome

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

They'd certainly be welcome at my house!

I would keep some white crossings, smile.
I like this Seedling.
