UK - white

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Is this white suaveolens? Not one flower has faded on this since it started blooming. I'm so tickled with it!! The bloom is a creamy white and the ridges are yellow-greenish.

Look at them all!

I like this one, but it doesn't look pure suaveolens to me. Sure this one isn't someone's seedling? Can you order one of those in your unknown pinks color for me? Keeping the shape of this white one of course.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Think I should cross them? I pollinated only a couple blooms on this white plant. I figured seedlings would be all white. This one could be anything - it came as an unknown from Karma-happy-Toes. My very first brugs last summer. She started me!!

FSH, TX

Wonder if its one of her seedlings? Personally, I would cross it to another multihybrid. Something in pink or peach. Of course you could go for tried and true pollen donors like Charles Grimaldi and Ecuador pink...but I would prefer Butterfly, Lamour, Rosabelle, or Rothkirch pollen to put on that one. Dr.D pollen of course could be used if you don't care whether you get peach, pink, yellow, or oranges. Its anybodies guess what color you'll get when you breed with Dr.D.

Okay - I'll have to wait a couple days for my Rothkirch flowers to open and I'll try that.

!!Just kidding!! :o)

Cool and pretty

Thats not even funny! I think by the time any of us get any Rothkirch flowers though that Monika will have something 10x's better for us to swoon over.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Poppysue! And your brug looks like one right out of Monika's alley!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It is not a pure suaveolens, poppysue but the shape of the flowers is beautiful. Its rather seldom. I had once a hybrid like this, a nursery asked for it to make cuttings for their use and I didnt get it back. They told me it didnt survive the winter.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

and I'll bet we know which nursery - not LOL.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

LOL, Liz, maybe! I dont know°!

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

OH Poppysue, you are too funny. I like that!!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

LOl - I thought that might spark some interest! I was gonna wait to say I was joking but I figured that would be too cruel. I wonder how many offers I would have gotten.

tiG - this was a plant from karma_happy_toes last summer so I don't really know what it is. I don't think it's a seedling.
