TiG, here is a bud on my nightie, lol. (yes I know it's Knight-e-i) I'm anxiously awaiting it's opening. I am going to slap some Pink Beauty Pollen on it and super glue the darned penduncle to the stem!!!

If I'm not mistaken Knightii has some recessive pink in her. Can't wait to see your beauties. I have high hopes for you on this one.
OK, it wasn't open, so I ripped it open and pollinated it. I couldn't stand it.
I have to admit, I never wait for a double to open to set pollen to it. I rip away even with other hybrids like Butterfly, Ecuador pink, etc...unless I am also trying to get pollen from that same flower....then I wait.
Eric, how much of the flower do you rip away to pollenate the double? mine is still stuffed, and nothing is setting on it yet.
