I didn't think Daturas would come up from seeds the following year in this part of the country. I know some of the pods split before I noticed last year and now I've got Lilac LeFleur and White metel coming up everywhere. DH tilled up the whole garden this spring and must have spread them throughout the whole garden.Tuff little plants.

they truly are. same thing happen in my yard. now i've got a sea of La Fleur in the yard too.
Reminds me.....I've got a big pile of pods from D. Wrightii that I better get picked up and burned before they pop open and spread all over the place. I have them in my vegie garden from years ago.
Brugie send the wrightii seeds my way if you are just tossing them. They are the perennial ones that form a tuber. Can I get them for postage?
Mine reseed but not real heavy.The two that come up every year don't seem to send out seedlings but lilac comes up here and there......
