This is a tree form plant with a 3 inch diameter trunk..the plant is 7 feet tall and finally full of buds. Smallish flowers about 4-5 inches across. vary from double to semi-double flowers. :-)

Wonderful! You consider a 5" flower to be smallish? How big do some of these flowers on hibiscus grow? Kyle you are tormenting me with these beautiful flowers you have...Post another pic and I'll have to peek at it through my fingers...lol.
Would have to check my tags, but I think you brought me one of these. It just bloomed yesterday. Beautiful bloom. Glad to know it will get such a big trunk on it. Should hold up to the wind with a trunk like that.

i have something similar to this. a volunteer on my yard, from the friendly birds that i feed. each stem has 4-5 blooms. when the flower dries up it turn to blue in color. i wonder if they produce seeds? i tried looking for a seed but could not find any. very nice Kyle :).

Where is the Underground Railroad when I really need it now...boy if I could get a rooted cutting of this I'd like to know what route my ancestors took to get here. I know some came via Ohio then through to Windsor, Ontario. Ummmm would you consider getting phytos?
