This is such a neat tropical vine. The flowers are born in clusters and each flower has many variations of color, depending on how old the flower is! The flower starts out white and or pink striped and turn solid pink and finally dark pink on maturity. This picture shows all the different stages of flowers. Isn't it neat?!

Rangoon creeper : Quisqualis Indica
YES, Yes, yes! I love it!
Do you know if it would be hardy in my zone 7 garden? I could always grow it as an annual, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed~! Would you have any seeds to trade or where did you purchase it? I have NO will power!!!
That is just gorgeous. I would also like to know how you came by the (plant or seed) and where.
Shriley, it is a zone 10 plant. I push it here in 9b..it is root hardy here, If we have a frost, it will die, but come back from the roots. Do you have a green house? I can try for cuttings.
Busybee, I haven't seen any seeds on the plant. I came across it at one of the wholesale nurseries we buy from in New Iberia. I haven't seen one of these at any of our nurseries here. I can also try to start a cutting for you. There is a lady down the road from me who has one and she got hers from a cutting from someone else, I'll try to find out how they did it. Would you like a cutting if I can one going?
Lisa,
I would love to have a cutting. I don't have a greenhouse, but I do have a very warm sun room that lots of tender plants winterize in.
What are you interested in? I maintain my list on the GardenWeb. I'll send you a link if you are interested.
Thanks,
Shirley
I like it Lisa, I had one(killed it).
Very Nice Lisa!!! Too bad it's not hardy for me :(
You bet your boots I do. Thanks a million.
Beautiful. I have one growing but no flowers yet. The bunch of flowers hang down - lovely sight! Yours seem to have some support and so they are facing upwards.
