Suaveolens flowering

Hamilton, Canada

Well my first flowers and I'm just sooooo excited I'm beside myself. To think that this plant was from a seed planted around January makes me want to jump with joy. I wish someone had some spare pollen of any kind to pollinate this plant. I'm in heaven.

Now my question is does suaveolens flower in spurts or is it a continual bloomer?

Congrats!! This is my first year doing the hand pollinating thing and I'm having some fun with it besides trying some serious crosses. About the blooming? Heck, I don't know. I just enjoy them when they do bloom.

Brugie thanks. I've been out front about a million times today just looking at that bloom. My neighbours keep stopping to ask if any have bloomed yet and I show it to them an all the other pods on the plant. My chest is so puffed up it looks like my bra size increased 4 cups sizes...LOL.

Joydie,
Here is the deep south it blooms in spurts.

Thanks Glory,
By the way all of the v. peach x EP sprouted and doing well, next are the v. peach hybrids, EP hybrids and got a few CG hybrids. Whiskers are now up also and I can't remember if there were any others?

(((Glory))) for the wonderful selection of seeds. :-)

Just realized that my flower has SIX tendrils...now how can I complain about only having one plant flowering now. Its raining softly and I can smell the sweet scent of my brug. BLISS!!
