This is the type Plumbago I have - a pretty ground cover, very bright blue, and hardy - at least here in zone 7.

Yep, go_vols was handing these out at the DG Roundup. I have one, and it's still in the cup. Seeing the ocean of color it created at UT was enough motivation for me to finally find a spot for this! :)

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

I would like to know if dwarf plumbago (plumbaginoides)is a good plant for Orlando, FL (zone 9b). All of the nurseries I've checked around here only have the large, wild plumbago that spreads 4 or 5 feet wide. You see the larger plumbago everywhere here, but I don't know about the dwarf. I am interested in dwarf for my sidewalk border because it looks like it would be the perfect size. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate your comments. Also, if it's a good bet, do you know where I can get some?

Cherryville, NC

I just bought a Plumbago auriculata - I live in zone 7b. Will I need to bring this plant in for the winter or is it hardy for my zone? I have read it is hardy in zone 8 but have come across some people saying it is hardy for their zone 7. Any words of wisdom?
