I am so excited

(Zone 5a)

Cala thank you, thank you, the Jean Pasco Orange brug you gave me just bloom this evening and I am so happy that I can hardly type this..whewww! Let me catch my breath.
Anyway I have been watching this one for the last two weeks and I thought it would never bloom. When I checked on it this afternoon I thought it wouldn't be open until tomorrow, but boy I got the surprise of my evening when I saw that it had. I guess I better stop rambling on and just post the picture. One more thing, just notice how her skirt just swirls in the air, she is such a lady.

Aw, ain't she purty?? I'm such a proud momma(well, I didn't hybridize it, but I started the cutting. That counts for something don't it?)

Nice picture Windsurfer! That camera really shows some detail.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

This is a pretty one - Mine is still less than a foot tall and no Y's, maybe someday!!

(Zone 5a)

Cala it stands for a lot in my book, so you have a right to be a proud momma.(((BIG HUGS)))

Thanks tig, I am so happy right now I just don't know what to do with my self.

Brugmanisa thank you.

Azalea my plant is only 2ft 4", I layed on the ground to get this picture. I made it look like a tree, I cheated lol.

Nice bloom and great photo.

Getting the ok from all the brug experts here is just a dream come true for me. I was so affraid that none of them would bloom. Because brugs are new to me I wasn't sure I could keep them healthy. Thanks to you all for making me feel like I can do it.
The ones that I purchased had buds on them so I didn't have to worry about them blooming, but it's just not the same as growing and watching your own.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wind, You'll have to try growing from seeds next. That's a whole new experience.

(Zone 5a)

I am up for it now...I think lol. I will try but I will need a lot of advice from the experts here. Snow you wouldn't believe how big the ones you gave me are getting, they look like small trees and I have so many Y's on them that it isn't funny. I can't wait to see them in bloom and you know I will post a picture as soon as they do. Of course you know that I will be doing my happy dance again lol.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Can't wait to see them Wind.Hope they bloom soon for you.

(Zone 5a)

Snow I am on pins and needles, I check them for bugs, and the fungus among us all the time to make sure they are alright. I also give them plenty to eat and drink so they won't dry out, now all I have to do is keep my cool.
I know they will bloom soon it's just the waiting part I have the problem with.

Just saw that Lebon made Guity x Butterfly cross. Now, that has got to be one of the best crosses I have seen. Of course if Guity was pink it would be perfect.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Wind, if you want to try some seeds, I can fix you right up!!

(Zone 5a)

Cala I owe you so much already, but I will not turn down the seeds and if you could tell me how to grow them I would apreciate it. Thank you so much.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Brugman, I think the crosses that all are making here have to be just as good if not better. I can't wait to see what I will have blooming before winter, and then next year I'm going to till the bottom forty and see what comes up!
