totally confused.questions.

1. my "cypress gardens", that went through 2 bloom cycles staying white til their death, that i decided must be versicolor alba because of that, is going peach!!! light peach down the ribs, light peach inbetween on a couple. now, i'm not saying i can't be spacy but this plant had been in this spot almost a year and bloomed last year. peach, not ginger. the bottoms of the flowers curl up gorgeously.
2. my "charles grimaldi" that i traded dr suess for from JJsGarden, just opened blooms last night. this morning that were much deeper gold than a dr suess would be fresh open, the tendrils are twisted, and i'm looking at the leaves and they are half serrated and half smooth, the serrated ones not so serrated as my dr suess. last fall i swear i thought it was dr suess..........
and of course now i have lots of baby CG, thanks to ms kell, who has mail....

my arborea is doing okay. 1/2 day sun, and i have rooted orange sanguinea, excited about that.

she doesn't really have mail does she??? If my Cypress Gardens ever blooms and isnt' like yours, I want a cutting of that one, it's the most gorgeous flower I've ever seen.

you remember, it, tig? i couldn't believe today it's going peach!!!! i kept looking, going this is its third round of blooms!!
do you think the other is really grimaldi? maybe i should ask JJsGarden. twisted tendrils, deep orange, very fragrant? is there something in my soil twisting the tendrils?

Arlene, I'm glad you are having bloom. We are in a lull up here. Nothing blooming now. Those spent blooms on Whiskers are the closest thing to bloom I'm seeing, well except for Isab. X Butterfly and that is a given. Can you post a picture of the Cypress Gardens? I'd like to see it.

Ms Brugie, i'll try to get out there early in the morning. like i said, first 2 cycles blooms stayed white to the end. there are still 2-3 blooms on. i just went through a lull too.

Arlene ,gotta see pictures...lots of pictures

arlene..versicolor alba turns peach sometimes in cool weather..brug color on ALL brugs is variable due to several factors..so not always an indicator of wrong labeling..wait till next bloom cycle and see what it does. :-)

thanks, eclipse. we did get into the high 60s the last few nights.
