Gloria, your namesake : )

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

This shows the color a little better. I dont think the heat that we have right now is going to allow it to open further.
Once again, waltraud #18

I really like that one Jen.

Jen,
That is very pretty....since this was a seed from Germany it would be very interesting to know what the cross might be. I guess for now Gloria will be a Waltraum Hybrid. I would like a cutting of this one when you trim it back.

Here is a picture of the sister:

Frannie,
Next time it blooms do that. Your Hybrid looks a little yellowish..correct? This is exciting comparing sister.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

would i be correct in assuming there is a candida involved somewhere?

Jen,
I have no idea what this one is crossed with but I have been spelling the name wrong and you have it right Waltraud.

Monika,
It is a Euro cross.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Glory, the cross was made by Gebauer in Lehrte. Its a pink suaveolens hybrid.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

So, the pod came off of the plant Waltraud? Such a masculine name for such a pretty plant (although if someone wouldve called it frosty pink, i would have believed it)
I feel lucky that a yellow came out of it. I have another one that will bloom within the week. We'll see what that one looks like.

Monika,
Thanks...I knew you would know.

Jen,
Be sure to post the next flower off this plant.
