Off subject

I guess I'm loosing it but how long has the zones and citys been gone from our names. LOL Was there any reason it was removed.

a few days. dave has made it so you have to put your cursor over the person's name. I find it a pain. I used to just look up when I was reading a post to see what zone and now I have to move my cursor. whine whine

Only a couple of days Gloria. Don't understand the reason either. I miss it. If you hold your mouse over the name for a few seconds it will come up. It's hard to keep up with all these little tricks Dave plays on us, the Newbies will not realize this unless someone tells them.

worst trick on me, it didn't work! turns out my browser was too old, i updated it.

I miss it too, I could just look and it really helped me with new members, to see the date they joined. :(

we should tell dave. sometimes a new fun gimmick is not as good as the old way! Anything that involves an extra movement that is not needed is a pain! don't i sound old and cranky. LOL

Glory, I don't feel so bad now, lol. I hate it when something's been there for a month and I just notice it.

i wish Dave will put it back too. it was much easier the way they were. i like changes, but not when it make it too difficult for others to follow. just my 2 cents.

Well, I miss it. I found it very helpful to know someone's zone when reading about their wonderful plants. My browser is older and I don't want to upgrade it, so moving my cursor over a name doesn't bring up the info.

darius, rumor has it if you double click it will bring it up for you.

Sorry Azalea.....I just got on as all of you are getting off! I was out all day and got back to rush to the garden to do some chores and of course pictures!!! LOL. I am 3 hours behind you guys on the East coast.....I am so lonely I could die..........(I am singing this last part).........Sorry.........thanks for doing that...............

Well, good news, I guess... I now see the locations, but the ZONE is still missing. I'd rather have the zone, but I also agree with Baa about seeing the location in terms of trades. I guess I can estimate zone somewhat by the location, or look it up... Anyway, Thanks to all who got the squeaky wheel lubed!
