Sue, it is gorgeous!! Do you keep it in full sun? Mine didn't bloom last year. I got it from Logees and was very disappointed in the way it performed. It got overhead sun for about three or four hours. Maybe I need to put it someplace else next summer? Thanks.

Lol debi - I'm a plant bratt! I've got the gotta have one of everything disease. My plant came from Logee's too. After I bought it I saw one at the local farmers market for the first time... so I bought that one too. I've never seen seed for sale and my plants didn't produce any. I kept them in hanging bsakets in full sun. I imagine they got lots of fertiltzer when I watered the brugs.

Thanks Sue, I think I'll go the sunny route next year. It is still alive in the basement, so maybe it will have a chance to show off next summer.

do you just let it go dormant in the cellar? i don't know how to do that. do tell.

Debi, I have it under lights in the basement. It isn't beautiful right now, but I should be able to cut it back soon and see it put out lots of new growth. I water only when necessary and haven't fed it more than twice this winter. I don't really want it growing a lot right now. I'd never done this before, but hated to throw it away this fall and took a chance that I could keep it alive. Just dumb luck I guess.

good for you. gotta get me one of them this year. yes mam

Hi Gardeners:-) I love Blue Daze:-) We recently had a Sewer Pipe that Busted & Flooded our Home, had to replace the Piping in the Front Yard from the House to City Line-what a Mess! A huge trench in yard for a week! SO...I have A Large Bucket I am tipping on it's side and Planting with Blue Daze to resemble Water Spilling Out Into Yard! I think Our Neighbors will get a Kick out of it:-)
