c.Dbl. White x Butterfly pod

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Every flower on the c. dbl. White that I pollinated with EP did not produce a seed pod except for one which was knocked off the plant by a bird. I used Butterfly with this flower and the pod is about two in. long.Hoping it continues to grow.

Arlene, I'm hoping so much that one of us can come up with a double pink. I know we are all trying our best.

I sure hope it works for you. I pollinated one last night with the little bit of Butterfly pollen that I had left. We had a wind storm this morning and a couple of my brugs were laid over in the pots. Lots some buds and a couple of pods. Nothing really important. Lost one from Pink Beauty, but I'm not sure it had taken anyway. Had just hung on there for a long time so I was hoping. Good luck with your seed pod.

Another father will do it also. But avoid a pure suaveolens.

Looks like every time I come by a cross made by you snow I seem to have a tinge of jealousy. Hope they all take for you.

I'd been avoiding using the candida flore plena as a parent for anything. Wish I had now :-( I thought because it was white, it wouldn't give colored offspring.
