Every flower on the c. dbl. White that I pollinated with EP did not produce a seed pod except for one which was knocked off the plant by a bird. I used Butterfly with this flower and the pod is about two in. long.Hoping it continues to grow.
c.Dbl. White x Butterfly pod
Snow,
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Mine have been crossed Glory. I've got a few more I pollinated with Butterfly too but it's too soon to see if it worked.
Here's hoping it grows!!
Snow i am so happy for you!!!!! i look at my pods on PB and BF 8 times a day. seems like it took them a long time to start getting any size. only have 3 all together.
Arlene, I'm hoping so much that one of us can come up with a double pink. I know we are all trying our best.
I sure hope it works for you. I pollinated one last night with the little bit of Butterfly pollen that I had left. We had a wind storm this morning and a couple of my brugs were laid over in the pots. Lots some buds and a couple of pods. Nothing really important. Lost one from Pink Beauty, but I'm not sure it had taken anyway. Had just hung on there for a long time so I was hoping. Good luck with your seed pod.
Snow, guard that pod with your LIFE! Set up bear, squirrel, and bird traps,Alarm system, motion detectors!!!I'm so excited for you!
That is one I sure wish I had. There is still time here so it may happen yet.Good luck with yours.
I spread my one Butterfly flower as far as I could. I've got another flower open and more buds.So far I crossed Butterfly to Whiskers, DrD, EP,and c. dbl. white.
Snow sounds like some great seedlings to come if they grow..:-)
Snow, keep my fingers crossed for you!

Another father will do it also. But avoid a pure suaveolens.
Looks like every time I come by a cross made by you snow I seem to have a tinge of jealousy. Hope they all take for you.
I'd been avoiding using the candida flore plena as a parent for anything. Wish I had now :-( I thought because it was white, it wouldn't give colored offspring.
