This is black Knight, when I left to go on vacation the leaves of this were almost black (purplish black anyway), now they are turning green. Are they supposed to be doing that or do I need to do something, I want to keep the dark color.

Its a nice sized clump and very pretty too. Abutilon and Kyle seem to know a lot about cannas.
They will do that. Maybe it had a growth spurt. But so long as water, fertilizer, and pest needs are taken care of, it is about all I can suggest right now. I think it will go dark again when it is ready.
Alot of changes depends on light and the weather, too. This has been a very weird canna year, anyhow. I've seen all sorts of weird things this year I don't really know causes or answers.
