JesseNoel for Gloria

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Gloria,

Here is Jesse that you gave me. She is about 4 ft not 5 ft. Will try another picture later. I think the sun is to bright. The one on the right is Sunray. Has not Y'd yet but look how tall it is.

Looking good Dee...Jessie is a super bloomer. I sure wished I could see Jessie growing in an area where it doesn't freeze back in the winter....just wonder how tall it would get. Hey Pete...do you have a Jessie Noel...maybe I could send you one for an experiment....just let it grow and don't cut it back.

Just think - Jesse Tree

Wouldn't that be cool. If it kept growing straight up it would look like one of these Southern Pines with Brug flowers hanging off of it. LOL

Well, if I don't get it for my birthday, I will just have to give myself a birthday present.

Well, I am still up Glory! We took my nephew and son out to dinner. I took about 50 pictures of them and just finished making a whole story out of them and putting in funny captions and sending them off to my sister so she could see the boys together! I took a while for some I had to crop. I hope she enjoys the story. I made it a rivalry story since one is a junior at Stanford and the other a junior at Harvard. She had emailed me earlier today saying she wished she could be here. She lives in Louisiana. So I tried to give her the feeling of being with us, well not really, LOL the story I made up was ridiculous but fit the facial expressions of the boys well!

Kell,
Where does your sister live in Louisana?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

In Metairie, do you know that place?? close to New Orleans.

Kell,
My goodness I was in Metairie about three weeks ago....I only live about 70-90 miles from New Orleans. There is a lot of people come to the casinos here from Louisana.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well, I can assure you she does not!! LOL. She is a much more serious person than I am.........
If I go visit her I will let you know. Last Christmas she sent me a turducken from there......... YUM YUM. I sent her your emails about the vast quantitiies of shrimp you woould not share......... but she said she has no boats where she is!!

Kell...what's a turducken? Email me if you can't tell me on Daves.

Your sister is right...New Orleans is along the Mississippi River and the shrimp are in the Gulf Of Mexico....not to far away.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Glory, am not Kelley. Turducken is a recipe of roasted turkey, stuffed with duck and chicken followed with other condiments, etc... http://www.chefpaul.com/turducken.html

Thanks everybody. Brugie just so happen i knew some of the questions ask. or i have them bookmarked.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Glory.........email you privately!!!! LOL You obviously think I have a much more exciting life than I EVER had...........LOL.......UNFORTUNATELY for me and the turducken.......LOL!

so it is a whole roasted turkey on the outside, then a layer of chicken and then a layer of duck and then a layer of spicey cajun sausage on the inside. It is beautiful when sliced on a plate. It was discovered in Louisianna walking along the street making a noise between a turkey and a sausage....it has a long tail.......... a true hybrid!!! I can't believe you have not eaten turducken!
