Is this an aurea type?

It's tagged UrsalineX from seed, but these little blooms are so different and so cute.

Oh Cala!! That is CUTE :) Are the leaves real big on it? Seems my Ursaline seedlings all have BIG leaves. Love the shape of that one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Poppysue, yes the leaves are huge and sort of fuzzy best I can remember. I love these little cute blooms.

Cala,
Looks like Aurea in it to me..... I'm sure Monika can ID it.

cala, ursiline is a candida. if it's like snow's seeds, i can't remember but i bet she can. this is very similar to E9 which just bloomed, haven't posted pics yet.

I'm just learning all this stuff. I can root them, just can't remember what class they are in!!

Cala, I don`t hope you get disappointed, but I think its more of a x candida type.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

OK, I like it. I have a question. Are Jesse Noel, Becca Lynn and Whiskers aurea type.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Looks more candida to me too..sawee!Still nice though..all my URsaline seedlings but one have wide leaves. While My Chlorantha seedlings all have narrow leaves with a weird texture. :-)

Cala, Jessie Noel, Becca Lynn are Whiskers x Charles Grimaldi and Whiskers is Charles Grimaldi x Aurea Gold. I don`t remember Charles Grimaldi`s background precisely, but I think I heard that it has both golden aurea and suaveolens in the genepole. I couldn`t help thinking of Charles Grimaldi, when I saw Ocre in bloom for the first time. Ocre has the same final color as Charles Grimaldi, so Ocre may be a part of it too. I better leave the Charles Grimaldi part of the question to Monika.

Well, there is a word I've not seen before. Chlorantha. I need an explanation on this one. Please.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Cala, Arlene is right. Ursoline is a candida and the seeds I had were c. Ursaline x v. Cuba and c. Ursaline x v. Australie.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

if you got it from me, mine came from LBJ as C. Ursuline x Euro crosses, which could be anything:)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This is the one from TiG, Snow's haven't bloomed yet. TiG, I fibbed the other day, I had one of Valley Grow's bloom not white, looked just like Dr. Seuss. Don't know if the others will bloom, I had to cut back on watering and those were the ones.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, I sure hope mine look like this. Mine still haven't Y'ed! but it's a gorgeous flower!!!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Calla, you have a real beauty there. Beautiful flower.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I'm with you , Brugie, chlorantha, huh? And just when I thought I was beginning to learn.......

Very pretty, my Ursuline x Cuba haven't bloomed yet either.

I'd have to say its an aurea type, but it clearly has lots of versicolor in it. Angle of the dangle and calyx say versicolor. Length and tendrils say aurea. Very pretty indeed. Of course, Candida would be aurea x versicolor or versicolor x aurea and this one has a bit too much aurea to be versicolor x aurea or vice versa. Perhaps aurea x versicolor x aurea or a multihybrid there of.
