Trading plants this year, I have received (unasked for, as special gifts) 2 new campanulas. These are called "bellflowers". My favorite cat, she was put to sleep 4 years ago, was named "Belladonna", which means beautiful, wise lady. She was certainly that. Her nickname was Bellflower. I wanted to show everyone her photo. It was a couple of years before I could bear to look at it, but now I have it framed in my room. Such a sweet, gentle, loving, friendly, obedient cat I have never had.
