That I haven't sat on all summer. I don't know why I have benches in the garden, I don't have time to sit and they are taking up valuable brug real estate.

Sometimes you just have to take the time to sit and look at the beauty that all your hard work created.You've got some fabulous plants.
Well this one is particularly ugly esp that deep vivid purple one in the background on what looks like wisteria foliage but sure not wisteria bloom. what is that one Liz, just to make sure I never get one by mistake!

not wisteria - the last remains of clematis, wrapped up in hops aurea and regular hops. Sort of Bud and Bud Lite.

Liz ~ Liz ~ Liz ~ Liz: take time to sit and smell the brugmansias......you put so much work, effort, energy into them, you should set aside a half an hour a day and sit out there with a nice lemondade or ice tea, take out a book or magazine and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Or else, what is the point of nurturing your babies if you will never take the time to sit a spell in your beatiful gardens, and enjoy your lovelies...with the perfect bench....take the time to sit a bit.....
Oh I do enjoy them - immensely, and every day. I just do it standing up. LOL

I need that bench in my garden. I have the perfect spot(just need to clean the wild roses out). Sometimes I go out in the evening and just sit and enjoy the fragrance.
